of BioMedical Printing Technology

Technological platforms based on the printing technology are to be explored, developed and operated on a laboratory scale for biomedical applications. On these platforms, among other things, biomolecules, living cells, polymers and metals are to be combined to complex structures and characterized for biomedical applications. This is accompanied by the modeling and simulation of the underlying technological correlations. The defined structuring of surfaces, the modification of surfaces, the dosing of fluids, the fluid handling as well as the 3d-printing of biofunctional structures pose high demands on the technology and require a profound interdisciplinary understanding.
