Printing Anti-reflective layers

Printing technology and material formulations could be combined to make optical anti-reflection layers. Optical interference at high-quality refractive layers structured on glass and polymer substrates will be checked for this purpose. Creating light conducting periodic structures and interference (µm-scale) patterns with gravure and inkjet printing using nano-pariticle inks. These periodic structures could be used as a light harvester for enhancing the efficiency of solar cells.
