Research

Printing of bio-chemical materials

The current research topic is the printing of bio-chemical materials for medical diagnostics and analysis using simple devices outside of a laboratory environment, so-called low instrumented diagnostics. The primary objective is the development of processes for screen, inkjet, flexo, gravure, and 3D-printing of bio-chemical and other materials for the production of simple layers for analysis, but also more complex microfluidic sensors for the separation and identification of individual components such as bacteria or ingredients.
