3D-bioprinting of tissue models
The industrial cooperation project „Development and characterization of a 3D-bioprinting process for vascularized tissue models in microfluidic chips” between the BMT group and Ibidi GmbH focusses on the production of so-called Organs-on-a-Chip using a 3D-bioprinter. It is the goal of the project to optimize the print process to achieve a gentle and selective placement of human or animal cells into a microfluidic chip. The cells are then cultured under flow to mature into complex tissue models.
